What Are
Dog Health Problems Symptoms
Really Telling You?

Dog health problems symptoms are the clues that indicate something is wrong with your dog. If you have a sick dog, he won't be able to tell you what's wrong, will he? All you can see are the signs of illness. These are the clues that something is not quite right. When your dog exhibits the symptoms of a health problem, his body is telling you to pay attention.

2 Reasons Why
Dog Illness Symptoms Happen

Illness symptoms happen because something in your dog's body is not working correctly...but what? The first thing to do is ask yourself these two questions.

  1. Is my dog is getting adequate and appropriate nutrients, oxygen, fluid to maintain total health
  2. Is my dog's waste elimination system adequately and appropriately getting rid of toxic waste from food digestion, metabolism and environmental influences?

These are the basic ideas of holistic healing and natural health care. For every symptom you see, the deeper root cause that you can't see, lies in the above two statements. If your dog is experiencing a health problem, and you're trying to figure out what to do about it, you can be sure your dog is lacking in one or both of these two sources.

If you can't or don't want to see and understand this, you will be stuck treating your dog health problems symptoms for temporary relief only. The true cause will remain until you address the source.

Remember that symptoms are clues. So before you run to Google ( which is probably how you wound up here ) to look up remedies for something on the list below, ask yourself what might be affecting your dog's health based on the two deeper causes listed above.

There Are Only 5 Basic Requirements for Health

The body's needs are simple. Here they are:

  1. Oxygen - your dog needs to breathe clean air
  2. Movement - your dog needs to move his body
  3. Water - your dog needs to drink clean water
  4. Nutrients - your dog needs to eat food that will nourish his body to sustain good health
  5. Waste removal - your dog needs to eliminate waste from food digestion, metabolism, and environmental influences.

Here's an example of what I mean. If you go to the vet for ' something to stop the itching ', the vet will give you ' something to stop the itching ', but this doesn't address why your dog is itching in the first place.  The cause of the itching still exists. In reality, nothing has been ' fixed ' or solved at all. Although it is absolutely necessary to see the vet sometimes, stop and think for a moment. If you give your sick dog a drug to stop the symptoms, ask yourself if by doing this, you might be interfering with your dog's own attempt at and ability to, heal itself on it's own?

So honestly, ask yourself if your dog's needs ( above ) are being met adequately?

Here are a few thoughts I have as it regards dog health problems symptoms in relation to your dog's basic needs and the deeper cause. See if anything rings a bell.

  • Many dogs don't get enough outside exercise and so don't move their bodies enough to stay strong and breathe enough oxygen rich air, deeply. Movement is necessary to carry oxygen to cells and keep inter cellular fluids moving to eliminate waste through the lymphatic system.
  • Many dogs drink tap water which contains toxic chemicals such as chlorine and fluoride. Yikes! Nobody should drink that water.
  • Many dogs only eat a processed, dry dog food diet every day of their lives and never get any fresh food at all ever. Everybody knows processed nutrient deficient food isn't good for anybody!
  • Many dogs have bodies that are overloaded with harmful toxins from food, drugs, pet vaccinations, chemicals from flea/tick/heartworm preventatives and household cleaning products leaving their natural ability to detox and eliminate waste, at high risk. When was the last time you were at the vet and WHY?

Do you think any of these things might be contributing to or increasing the chances of dog health problems symptoms? Be honest with yourself.

The Natural Solution to
Dog Health Problems Symptoms

The healthy lifestyle habits and holistic healing information on this website are non toxic, non invasive, and have no side effects. Toxins cause disease. True health comes from helping your dog's body get rid of toxins in it's own natural way.

The longer dog health problems symptoms and the underlying disease cause have been present, the longer it will take to clean up the mess. These ideas are not new. Years ago, doctors practiced medicine exactly this way. Preventing health problems is much easier than solving health problems later. Drugs should be saved for critical care intervention.

It's Important to Watch for the Healing Crisis

If you decide to stop allopathic drug treatment for dog health problems symptoms in favor of a more holistic way, it is important to know that if a sick dog or sick person is highly toxic, and has been in this state of health for a long time a healing crisis can happen. This means that the sick dog or person, may appear to get worse before he gets better.

If you want to take your dog off of long term steroid drugs then you will need your vet to help you wean off. Do not take your dog off these drugs cold turkey. You will need the vet or other capable mentor to help you with the weaning off process.

Once your dog is off the immune suppressing drugs and has begun a natural holistic program for healing, you may become upset and worry that your pet is much worse, and not getting well at all. Please be patient and wait. This is a necessary part of the wellness process and your sick dog will be better for experiencing it.

Do not give up. If you put your dog back on drugs to suppress the illness symptoms again, that will only put you back where you started and stop the natural healing process.
