Blue Pitbull With Protein Allergies

My veterinarian said my 5 yrs old blue pitbull has protein allergies and put my dog on Hills Prescription z/d.

I don't think it's healthy for my dog to eat the this food for rest his life on a prescription diet?

So I'm thinking of putting my dog on a vegan dog food. Do you recommend that?

No, I absolutely DO NOT recommend a vegan diet for your dog.

Dogs are CARNIVORES...not vegans. They are meat/bones/organ eaters, not vegetable/fruit/grains eaters.

A vegan diet is never a solution to any dog health problem.
